Editorial Standards and Corrections

How we make our content, and how we correct it

How Optibio selects sources, writes and reviews educational content, discloses its role, and handles corrections.

In short

We write about supplements, including our own. We say where our information comes from, we say when the evidence is thin, and we do not claim more than it supports.

Our articles are written by a named person and reviewed by a named person.

When we get something wrong we correct it and say so.

Our purpose

Optibio publishes educational content to help readers better understand supplement ingredients, product information, and everyday wellness topics. Our goal is to provide information that is useful, evidence aware, and clear about its limits.

We do not publish educational content to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Optibio content is for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

How we choose topics

We select topics that are relevant to the questions readers may have about supplements, ingredients, product specifications, stress and sleep, and everyday wellness. We aim to address each topic in a way that helps readers understand the available information rather than simply promoting a product.

How we research and use sources

When we prepare an article, we review relevant scientific literature and credible, authoritative sources. Depending on the topic, this may include peer reviewed research, systematic reviews, clinical guidance, public health agencies, professional organizations, and other primary or authoritative materials.

Not all evidence carries the same weight. We aim to reflect the strength, limitations, and relevance of the information available. Where the evidence is preliminary, limited, mixed, or not directly applicable to an Optibio product, we aim to say so clearly.

We include or link to sources when they help a reader assess a meaningful scientific, ingredient, or product related statement. Sources are selected for relevance to the statement being made. A reference alone does not mean that a study applies to every product, dosage, formulation, or person.

How we write

We write in plain language and aim to make complex information easier to understand without overstating what it means. We distinguish between well established findings, emerging research, and claims that cannot be supported by the available evidence.

Our articles are not a replacement for professional care. We do not present general educational content as personalized health advice. Where a reader's circumstances may affect the relevance or safety of supplement use, we encourage consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

Product information and health related claims

We check product related content against Optibio's current ingredient lists, specifications, and available product information before publication. We aim to make product descriptions accurate, specific, and clear.

We do not knowingly publish health related claims that exceed the support available for the particular statement. We consider the full context in which a statement appears, including the surrounding text, imagery, product description, and any qualifying language. When an important limitation is needed to understand a statement fairly, we aim to present that limitation clearly and near the statement it qualifies.

Who creates and reviews our content

Each substantial Optibio article names the person who wrote it and, where applicable, the person who provided editorial review. The byline links to background information about each person's role.

Our educational content is written by Jeffanie Kaye Ashley N. Solar, SEO and Content Manager. Editorial review is provided by Panna Nahar, PharmD, founder of Optibio Supplements. Full background for both is on our About Our Content page.

Editorial review covers factual accuracy, scientific context, ingredient and product information, and responsible supplement communication.

Publication dates, updates, and corrections

Each substantial article displays its original published date and its last reviewed date. These dates help readers understand when content was first published and when it was most recently assessed for accuracy, relevance, or product changes.

We update content when a material correction, new product information, relevant evidence, or a meaningful clarification requires a change. When an update materially changes an article's guidance or product description, we will identify the update on the page when doing so helps readers understand the change.

If we identify a factual error that could materially affect a reader's understanding, we will correct or clarify it as soon as practicable after confirming the issue. We may also remove or revise content that no longer meets these standards.

Disclosures and transparency

Optibio produces and markets dietary supplements. When we discuss an Optibio product, the relationship between the content and the brand is direct. We aim to make that relationship clear through the page context, product identification, and disclosures where appropriate.

We do not imply medical oversight where a qualified clinician has not reviewed the content. Where a person named in an article has a financial interest in a product we discuss, we identify that interest.

Reporting a question or correction

If you believe an Optibio article contains an error, needs clarification, or no longer reflects available information, please contact us. To help us assess the issue, include the page address, the specific statement in question, and any supporting source you would like us to consider.

We review correction requests in good faith. Submitting a request does not guarantee a change, but material and verifiable concerns will be evaluated against the standards described on this page.

Our commitment

These standards are designed to help readers understand how Optibio content is made and what it can reasonably provide. We may refine this policy as our editorial practices evolve. The current version of this page displays its last updated date.
