How KSM-66 is made.

  • What KSM-66 is

    A root extract of ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), made only from the root, never the leaf. KSM-66 is a named extract, used by Optibio under license from Ixoreal Biomed.

  • What withanolides are

    Withanolides are compounds that occur naturally in ashwagandha. KSM-66 is standardized to 5% withanolides, as stated on the label.

  • How it is made

    KSM-66 is produced with a proprietary extraction process that uses no alcohol or chemical solvents. KSM-66 is the subject of 22+ gold standard human clinical studies.

    The amount of extract in one serving of 2 capsules. The label states it as a single ingredient, not a blend.

  2. 5% withanolides

    The standardization. It tells you how much of the extract is withanolides, the compounds KSM-66 is standardized to.

  3. 320 mg of magnesium per serving

    The elemental amount, meaning the magnesium itself, not the weight of the whole compound it is bound to. That is 76% of the Daily Value.
